NARRATIVE DESIGNER & SCREENWRITER

I work with writers, directors, producers and game designers to build and repair story, strengthen structure, character and narrative cohesion at a professional level.

I hold an MFA in Screenwriting from Columbia University, where my thesis film was nominated for a Student Academy Award. My work spans independent feature film and AAA game development, including senior narrative roles at Ubisoft. I specialize in three act structure, theme integration, and rewrite strategy, the underlying mechanics that make a story work.

I am currently available for select consulting and short-term narrative work.

ABOUT ME

After graduating high school, I enlisted in the US Army at age 17, and was deployed on a peacekeeping mission to post-genocide Bosnia-Herzegovina. Upon leaving the military I studied theater, majoring in scenic design at the University of Florida and graduating with BFA degrees in Stage Acting and Stage Directing from UC Santa Barbara. After college I moved to Bangkok, Thailand where I directed and performed for an English-speaking theater company. I went on to work in theaters across the US, including Playwrights Horizons in New York City, the American Reparatory Theater (A.R.T.) in Boston and the Magic Theater in San Francisco. I have an MFA in Film from Columbia University, where my thesis film, DAY 39, was a finalist for the Student Academy Award.

I currently live in New York.
