DAY 39 WINS FACULTY HONORS AND THE IFP AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD AT THE 2015 COLUMBIA FILM FESTIVAL
Day 39 premiered at Lincoln Center in New York City as part of the 2015 Columbia Film Festival. At the festival the film was awarded faculty honors and it won the IFP Audience Choice Award. Producer Josh Cohen also won the Richard Brick Memorial Award for best producer.

DAY 39 SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2015 ASCAP COLUMBIA FILM SCORING WORKSHOP
DAY 39 was selected to take place in the ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) film scoring workshop. As part of the workshop we partnered with the incredibly talented composer Francis Rodriguez to develop a unique score for the film. Once the scope was designed ASCAP sponsored a recording session at MSR Studios in New York City with 16 union musicians from the New York area.

FINALIST - 2014 Austin Film Festival
ACE OF SPADES has made it to the finalist round of the 2014 Austin Film Festival. The finalist round represents the top 6 drama scripts out of 6,700 submissions.
2014 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition Semi-Finalist
ACE OF SPADES made it to the Semi-Finals of the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition which means it's in the top 30 out of 6,700 submissions. The Austin Film Festival has one of the top writing competitions in the country (http://www.austinfilmfestival.com/). The top 8-10 finalists will be announced in early October.
2014 Academy Nicholl Fellowship Semi-Finalist
ACE OF SPADES is in the Semi Finals of The 2014 Academy Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting. The script is the in the top 60 from an applicant pool of over 7,500. The Nicholl Fellowship is sponsored by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences and is one of the most prestigious screenwriting awards available (http://www.oscars.org/awards/nicholl/).
Ezra Litwak Award
I'm very proud to have been awarded the Erza Litwak Award for Distinction in Screenwriting at the 2014 Columbia Film Festival. The award is given to the top screenwriter for 2014 in the Columbia MFA Film Program. ACE OF SPADES was a faculty select in the 2014 festival.
